Write for us

Vibrant Daily Dispatch welcomes considered proposals about colour and visual perception in ordinary surroundings. We are interested in clear, original ideas that leave readers with a sharper way to notice something.

What we welcome

Pitch an explanation, comparison, piece of background or close look at a distinct subject: perhaps the way a surface changes the look of colour, how lighting affects a palette, or how people use colour words. Keep the idea focused enough to explore well in one article.

What makes a strong pitch

Tell us the central question, the reader who might care and the main point the finished piece would help them understand. Explain how the approach differs from a general overview, note any sources or images you expect to rely on, and disclose relevant interests. We welcome proposals, not finished copy presented as a guaranteed commission.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send your pitch. Include a short description of the idea and any relevant writing experience you wish to share. We cannot promise a response to every proposal or publication of submitted work.
